Last edition of Gallery Nights Buenos Aires 2007 in Recoleta

This Friday, November 30th, 2007, from 7 PM, will be the last edition of Gallery Nights 2007, organized by Arte al Día, through an original circuit along more than 60 art galleries, antique shops, museums and cultural centers around the neighborhoods of Retiro and Barrio Norte in Buenos Aires.

There will be “Visits with Audio Guide”, available in Spanish only. Those who wish to participate in this virtual experience can go to the LAN stand at the British Arts Centre (Suipacha 1333) from 7 PM to 10 PM, and, with an ID, can take an MP3 with the information about the galleries and exhibits chosen. This information can also be downloaded from www.artealdia.com to make the visit with your own MP3.

As always, there will be music and free shows, and the guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne.

The most outstanding exhibitions this month are: Luis Felipe Noé at Galería Rubbers (Av. Alvear 1595) and Carlos Alonso at RO Galería de Arte (Paraná 1158). At La Europea – Marca Futuro (Arenales 1415) there will be an exhibition dedicated to gastronomic art. At Agalma Arte (Libertad 1389), paintings by Justo Solsona. In the Retiro circuit you can visit the exhibitions by Silvia Gurfein at Zavaleta Lab (Arroyo 872), Eduardo Faradje at Palatina (Arroyo 821), Adolfo Nigro at Laura Haber Galería de Arte (Juncal 885, Entrepiso) and Gerardo Feldstein at Empatía (Carlos Pellegrini 1255). The cultural halls at the British Arts Centre (Suipacha 1333) will be reinaugurated with the exhibition by Javier de Aubeyzon.

The traditional circuit of Gallery Nights covers from Plaza San Martín to Callao and from M. T. de Alvear to Libertador. This year Buenos Aires Design and Terrazas de Buenos Aires Design were incorporated to the circuit. There is also a free transportation service with fixed stops and constant service to get to all of the spots in the circuit.
