French singer, actor, author, and composer Charles Aznavour will perform at teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires, on May 3rd and 4th, 2008, as part of his World Farewell Tour. This farewell tour started in 2006 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York, and since then has visited the most important stages in the world. The Latin American leg of the tour will start on April 16th in Brazil, continuing in Argentina and Chile.
Apart from his classical and unforgettable songs, like “Paris au mois d’août”, “Non, je n’ai rien oublié” (I could never forget), “Je voyage” (I travel), Toi et Moi” (You and me), “Je t’aime a.i.m.e.” (I love you), “Sa jeunesse” (Her youth), "Dance in the Old Fashioned Way", Aznavour will be present his latest album, with Latin influences. Aznanour traveled from Paris to La Habana to work with Cuban artist Chucho Valdes. Together they created fun songs like “La Terre Meurt”, a mixture of chachacha and pop, “Colore Ma Vie” , a great big band swing, "I dance for love", "Tell me you love me", and many others.
