Festival Buenos Aires Earth Day 2008

On Saturday April 26th, 2008, for the first time Buenos Aires will join the world wide Earth Day celebration, a festival that gathers millions of people around the world in a "Call for climate". According to Earth Day Network, Earth Day 2008 is expected to be the biggest yet.

The artists that will participate in Buenos Aires are: Puerto Infinito, Kevin Johansen, Leo García, Bicicletas, Michael Mike, Rosal, Hamas al Río and Espósito - Delgado dúo, La Bomberia, 2Ambientes, DJ Maniana.

Other programmed activites are: screenings, video art, sustainable design, theater and yoga.

Date: Saturday April 26th, 2008. From 3 pm till dawn. The event is not suspended in case of rain.
Location: Ave Figueroa Alcorta and Austria. Plaza Naciones Unidas (The Flower).
Free entrance.
