Two Design and Creativity exhibitions at Centro Cultural Borges

George Nelson in Buenos Aires

Retrospective of some of the main creations of the great designer and thinker, in commemoration of the 100 years of his birth. The designs that will be exhibited are the original designs by George Nelson, coming from private collections, imported directly from Herman Miller, USA, and the ones manufactured locally by Coleccion Sacif, the exlusive license holder and distributor with the necessary know-how to produce the designs by Herman Miller in Argentina.
George Nelson (1908-1986) was, along with Charles & Ray Eames, one of the founding fathers of American Modernism, known as the creator of ¨Practical and Beautiful Things¨. Some of his famous creations are: NelsonTM Miniature chests (1952), NelsonTM End Table (1954), NelsonTM Coconut (1955)
