  1. I went online to try to find out if the Eduardo Sivori is going to be open today,Monday. I was planning to go to see the art that is going to be auctioned, later this week.
What a great surprise to find your website! Not only was my question answered, but since everything that is going to auctionedwas shown, you saved me a trip to the museum.
There are a few pieces of interest. I'm wondering if credit or debit cards will be accepted? Paying is cash just doesn't seem like a good idea.

    Thanks,
    Jerry Mendel

  2. Hi Jerry,

I'm glad you found the information you were looking for on my site.
This is the information on the Museum's auction website for the sale conditions:

    # El comprador deberá abonar en el acto de adquisición el 20 % de seña
    y el 10 % de comisión.

    # Facilidades de pago: el saldo podrá ser abonado con cheques
    a 30 y 60 días.

    # Tarjetas de crédito en cuotas: Visa, American Express y Mastercard. Las obras se venden en el estado en que se encuentran y serán entregadas una vez cancelado el valor total de las mismas.

This means: the buyer must pay 20% + 10% commission at the moment. The remaining can be paid with checks, and credit card in installments (but I suppose this will only apply to Argentine credit cards). The pieces will be handed once canceled the total amount.

If you are interested in buying Argentine art in a more relaxed and personalized way, maybe you will prefer taking the Artists' Atelier Tour. Check My Services and Reservations to find all the information, or email me so I can send you all the details.

    Regards,
    Sandra
