Japanese Art Festival

The festival will take place at Centro Cultural Borges to commemorate the 110 years of the Friendship, Commerce and Navigation Treaty between Argentina and Japan.
Around 500 works of Japanese art will arrive from Japan, representing different techniques: oils, watercolors, paintings, etchings, photographs, porcelains, mixed techinques, Tanka, Haiku, Senryu – Japanese poems, along with works from Argentine guest artists.
There will also be an exhibition of different aspects of the Japanese customs organized by the Cultural and Informative Center of the Embassy of Japan.

Dates: December 13, 14, and 15, 2008.
