This exhibition, featuring works by some of the most outstanding Argentine artists, is focused on the city of Buenos Aires and its cultural heritage. One of the most important pieces is the "Totem Porteño", a small obelisk that is already located at Cerrito between Libertador and Posadas. This work, by the prestigious "fileteador" Jorge Muscia, is 6.60 meters high and totally ornated with symbols and important figures from the Argentine culture. The "
fileteado" is one of the most representative art forms of the Argentine paiting specialties.
The exhibition consists of 34 works by: Benito Quinquela Martin, Enrique Castro, Armando Repetto, Francisco Mariani, Juan Lascano, Jorge Dandolo, Daniel Kaplan, Raul Soldi, Marcos Borio, Victoria Martin, Luis Aquino, Martin Cullen, Ernesto Bertani, Enrique Burone Risso, among others.
