The creative trends festival Código País will gather in a same venue, from March 11 to March 15, 2009, the new talents in music, design, cinema, theatre and everything related to live entertainment, making it a place of learning, entertainment and enjoyment at the same time.
Music, design, photography, happenings, movies and theatre, gastronomy, technology, children’s sector and alternative therapies are only a few of the main disciplines involved in this event, that will showcase the latest trends in local production, showing the country’s cultural profile.
Código País is presented as a great artistic theme park, where people can walk around, shop, take part in live activities, enjoy the outdoors and experiment the most diverse Argentine artistic expressions.
The slogan of the festival this year is "Mira distinto" (Look differently), focusing in the preservation of the environment through the new artistic expressions. Part of the funds raised will be destined to the foundation "Solo un planeta" (Only one planet), which mission is to create awareness about the importance of natural resources and respect for nature.
Over 1000 local and international artists will show their talent, and the artists interested in showing their material can upload it at the festival's website: www.codigopais.com
