68th Argentine Pato - Horseball Championship




The Final of the 68th Argentine Horseball Championship (Abierto Argentino de Pato - Copa Presidencia de la Nacion), the most important tournament of this sport in Argentina, that had to be suspended due to rain, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 30th, 2009.

Horseball ("Pato") is a traditional Argentine equestrian sport, practiced since the beginning of the XVII century, and declared  as a National Sport in 1953.

The preliminary stages took place at the Campo Argentino de Pato, in Campo de Mayo (Buenos Aires), with the participation of the best players of our national sport. The final, on Sunday December 20th, will be held at the Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo at 4:30 pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the stadium on the day of the match.
