VI Ancient Music Festival

San Ignacio de Loyola, the oldest church in Buenos Aires, located in the historic Manzana de las Luces, presents the VI Ancient Music Festival, a program of four concerts destined to raising funds for the restoration of the temple, a National Historic Monument built 300 years ago by the Jesuits.
The program will consist of Ancient Music and Latin American Baroque concerts, performed by outstanding groups, that will take place every Tuesday during the month of November 2011 at the same church of San Ignacio de Loyola, located in Bolivar 255, San Telmo.

Tuesday, November 1 - 8:00 pm:
Choir and Orchestra of Urubicha, Bolivia. Conduction: Mother Luzmila 

Tuesday, November 8 - 8:00 pm:
Musical Ensemble Capilla del Sol. Conduction: Ramiro Albino 

Tuesday, November 15 - 8:00 pm:
Orchestra of Ouro Petro and San Pablo Vocal Quartet. Condution: Rodrigo Toffolo 

Tuesday, November 22 - 8:00 pm:
Choir and Orchestra of Jose de Chiquitos, Bolivia. Conduction: Ruben Dario Suarez Arana

Entrance fees will be destined to the restoration of the church.
