On Tuesday, December 6th, 2011, from 7 PM, Gallery Nights, the original circuit for art lovers around more than 30 art galleries, antique shops, museums and cultural centers, presents this special edition, the last of the year, that will take place in the neighborhood of Palermo. Gallery Nights is organized by the art magazine Arte al Día, the last Friday of every month between April and December.The news in this edition is the event "The Art Block - Horses and Art" with works by Marta Minujín, Edgardo Giménez, Rogelio Polesello, Renata Schussheim, Milo Lockett, Marcial Berro and Josefina Robirosa, presenting original interventions in real size polo horses. Every horse is related to the world of wine, tango, polo and music through an artistic point of view. The exhibition will be held along 1500 Humboldt Street, with the presence of Marta Minujín, Edgardo Giménez, Rogelio Polesello, Renata Schussheim, Milo Lockett, Marcial Berro and Josefina Robirosa in a dialogue with the press and the public during a cocktail with Argentine Malbec and Champagne tastings.
As always, there will be live music and free shows, and guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of Chandon champagne. At the "American Express Meeting Point", located at Niceto Vega 5181, the holders of this credit card will invited to join special guided tours, starting 7.00 pm.
The Palermo circuit of Gallery Nights covers the streets of Dorrego, Gascón, Lavalleja, Córdoba and Santa Fé. There is also a free transportation service with fixed stops and a constant route to get to all of the spots in the circuit.
This event is totally free of charge.
