Free lyrical concert at Teatro Colón

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Argentina and Korea, the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires presents a concert with free entrance to the public, featuring Korean Soprano Sumi Jo and Argentinian tenor Darío Schmunck, under the musical direction of Maestro Arturo Diemecke, on Monday, September 3rd, 2012, 8:30 pm.
The program includes works by Beethoven, Adam, Verdi, Donizetti, Tchaikovski, Lehár, Offenbach, and Ahn.
The Academic Orchestra, made up by students of the Orchestral Academy of Teatro Colón and conducted by Enrique Arturo Diemecke will accompany these outstanding singers.
Free tickets for this event must be picked up at the Theater´s box office, Tucumán 1171, on Saturday, September 1st, from 10am. Two tickets will be given out per person until completing the concert hall´s capacity. Make sure to get in line early!
