The Association “Teatro Colón Historical Center” presents the first Music Festival at the Vatican Square, that will be held from Thursday January 15 to Saturday February 7, 2015, always at 8 PM.
The festival, the first of its kind in our country, will consist of 11 projections of high class concerts, operas and ballets, from the best productions worldwide, that will be projected on the large high definition LED outdoor screen that is located next to Teatro Colon. Chairs for free use of the public will be installed
The complete program consists of three operas, four ballets and four concerts, with performances by Marta Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta, and productions from Teatro Colon, Arpeggio, the Paris Opera, the Festival of Aix au Provence, the Teatro di San Carlo and Goethe Institut.
The Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.
