This Saturday, October 17th, 2015, at 8.00 pm, the great Argentinian dancer Paloma Herrera says goodbye to the stage with a performance at Teatro Colon, that will be screened live on big screen at Plaza del Vaticano, the square next to Teatro Colon, located on Viamonte & Cerrito, with free access to the public.

In this farewell performance, Paloma Herra, who has recently retired as first dancer of the American Ballet Theather, will relive the role of Juliet, in the work of Serguéi Profókiev, based on the classic by William Shakespeare.

Choreographed by the  director of Teatro Colon Ballet, Maximiliano Guerra, this new version of Romeo and Juliet will be without doubts a memorable performance.

Chairs for free use of the public will be installed.

People around the world will also have the opportunity to watch this performance live and for free, through live streaming on www.teatrocolon.org.ar

  1. Oh how I wish I were there ! I lost count of how many times I have seen her dance, over the years. My husband and I enjoyed the NY City Ballet as well as the American Ballet , living in NY ... we never did get to see a performance while living in BA. Our loss :(
