FIA Formula-e Championship 2016 in Buenos Aires
Formula-e is a new FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric racing series.
The 2016 Buenos Aires Formula-e race, or ePrix, will take place on Saturday February 6th, 2016. The circuit will be located in the modern Puerto Madero district to the east of the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.
Formula E is a ground-breaking FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric racing series. Formula E also operates as an 'open championship', allowing teams and manufacturers the opportunity to showcase their own electrical energy innovations.
The Buenos Aires ePrix forms the fourth of 11 races on the 2015-2016 calendar. At 2.479 km in length and featuring 12 turns, the circuit, designed by Santiago Garcia Remohi, consists of a mix of high-speed corners, chicanes and hairpins.
The eVillage is an urban festival area free for anyone holding a general admission, grandstand, Formula E Hospitality or EMOTION ticket.
This area will feature activities and entertainment that best showcase and promote the FIA Formula E Championship. Activities that celebrate Formula E’s messages of innovation, technology, sustainability and wellbeing will also play a part.
The eVillage will incorporate official Formula E merchandise, a partner activation area, entertainment, food & beverage.
