The second edition of the gastronomic festival Carne! (Meat!), that will take place on Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th, 2016 at Hipodromo de Palermo, will bring together the best parrillas of Buenos Aires and the leading meat roasters. The grilled meats and different cooking methods will be the stars of this new festival aimed at fans of this icon of our culinary identity. More than 70 stands and food trucks will offer meats in all its varieties. Admission to the festival is free of charge. The fair will be mounted in the center of Palermo Hippodrome track in a natural setting with vegetation and small lakes.

Only suitable for carnivores, visitors will be able to taste red meat, fish, poultry, exotic meats and offal, among other dishes. Some of the recognized parrillas and local restaurants that have confirmed their presence are La Cabrera, Le Grill, La Dorita, Villegas, Paraje Arévalo, Aramburu, El Pobre Luis, La Mar, Campobravo, Las Nazarenas y Ravello, among others.

The gourmet burger joints, so fashionable today in the city, will also be present in a special sector, with La Burguesa, Mi Barrio, Deltoro, Dellepiane, Francis Platz and El Rodazo. There will also be an area of food trucks, where specialties based on meat will be offered; Santiago Giorgini will prepare meatballs; Dogg's will offer 15 different types of hot dogs; Los Infernales, dishes with local meats such as ñandu, yacaré and llama, among others.

Fans of the meat will also have the opportunity to enjoy the best empanadas and cold cuts; buy dressings to take home; and learn the best recipes for the grill, in an amphitheater with talks and workshops.

All of this accompanied by an area of wines and wineries, Ice creams and traditional Argentine desserts.
