Gastronomic Fair Masticar 2017

 Feria Masticar, the food fair organized by ACELGA, an association entirely composed by chefs and entrepreneurs in the gastronomic business, will be held on May 11, 12, 13, and 14 of 2017 at El Dorrego, in the neighborhood of Colegiales.

This project arose from the common interest of the members of ACELGA, to raise awareness about the importance of good nutrition. It also seeks to promote Argentine cuisine.

The real heart of the Fair will be the Market, where visitors will be able to purchase regional products from 20 Argentine provinces, specially selected by the experts, like, among other things: honey, cheese, mushrooms; papaya, banana y chilto from Jujuy; mandioc starch, corn flour, organic rice and traditional yerba mate from Corrientes; wild mushrooms from Pataonia; fresh pine mushrooms from Valeria del Mar; anchovies from Mar del Plata; quinoa and amaranth from Salta; organic sugar from Misiones; sweet potatoes and oranges from Entre Ríos; chestnuts from Buenos Aires; salamis from Colonia Caroya, herbs and infusions from Cordoba, and much more.

The special activities include cooking classes by renowned chefs, and talks with producers and food specialists.

At the Wine and Beer Bars premium wineries and beer makers of Argentina will present there best products for tasting.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste our typical food and the dishes from our most renowned restaurants at promotional prices, at $ 60, 80 or 100 Pesos per dish at more of 50 food stands and food trucks run by their own chefs, such as: Maru Botana, Italpast, Nucha, Yeite, Chila, Crizia, Basa, Pura Tierra, Mooi, Festa, Oviedo, Compañía de Chocolates, Eat, Gipponi & Rastellino, among many others.

Admittance: $ 100 Pesos. 
Masticar Bills: for purchases inside the Fair visitors will have to acquire the ticket book of Masticar Bills, that will be on sale at the entrance and at the ticket booths inside the fair (no cash payment for products in the Fair will be accepted).
Ticket books: $ 250 Pesos, with $100, $50, $20 and $10 Pesos bills.
