The Japanese Garden celebrates its 50th anniversary

The Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special event that will take place on Sunday, June 4th, 2017, from 10 am to 6 pm,


On this day the Garden will open its doors with free entrance to the public. During the day different dance groups, singers and music bands representing the Japanese community will offer their shows on the main stage.

More than 70 stands will offer typical Japanese dishes like Udon, Onigiri, Okonomiyaki, Bento, Ramen, Sushi, Tempura, Sashimi, Wagashi.

The event will start with a show with participate dance by Buenos Aires Taiko (Japanese Drums). Furthermore, the Asociación Japonesa Sarmiento will present a demonstration of Japanese dance and songs, and the band of Regiment Patricios will join in the celebrations.

The Japanese Garden is located on Av. Casares & Berro (Palermo)
The event will  be suspended in case of rain
