Notice: Because of bad weather the Festival has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 17th.

On Sunday, September 17th, 2017, the Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires (Av. Figueroa Alcorta and Casares, Palermo) presents the festival "Hi Matsuri - The Fire Ceremony", one of the most important Japanese festivals of the year.

Upon entrance, the public will receive small wooden boards where they can write about those bad feelings or experiences they want to leave behind (the boards will be given out until 4.30 pm or until stock is out).

Through the ceremony of burning the boards, the energy of the fire will make all the negative experiences turn into positive energy to continue on the chosen path, to face new projects or continue those that are already underway.

Program of Activities:
2.30 pm: Judo demonstration with Juan Carlos Yamamoto
3.30 pm: Dojos Ken Nelson Nakazato
4.30 pm: Japanese Songs by Romina Shimabukuru and Carlos Ueharo, and participative dance by Asociacion Japonesa de Sarmiento.
5.00 pm: Hi Matsuri ceremony. Closing of the Festival, with burning of boards accompanied by Japanese Drums.

Entry fee: AR$95. Children under 12: Free
