Gastronomic Fair Masticar 2014
Masticar, the food fair organized by ACELGA, an association entirely composed by chefs and entrepreneurs in the gastronomic business, will be held on October 16, 17, 18 and 19, 2014 at El Dorrego, in the neighborhood of Colegiales.
This project arose from the common interest of the members of ACELGA, to raise awareness about the importance of good nutrition. It also seeks to promote Argentine cuisine.
The real heart of the Fair will be the Market, where visitors will be able to purchase regional products specially selected by the experts, like, among other things: cheese, meat, eggs, fruits, vegetables, pastries, honey and milk.
Cooking classes will be given by renowned chefs, and a series of talks by nutritionists and experts (both at no extra cost, with limited seating), which will cover topics such as diabetes, celiac disease and infant nutrition, food and sports among others.
At the Wine and Beer Tunnels ten premium wineries and beer makers of Argentina will present there best products for tasting.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste our typical food and the dishes from our most renowned restaurants at promotional prices, at around $ 40 - $ 60 Pesos per dish at the more of 40 food stands and food trucks run by their own chefs, such as:

Admittance: $ 50 Pesos. Children under 12 free
Masticar Bills: for purchases inside the Fair visitors will have to acquire the ticket book of Masticar Bills, that will be on sale at the entrance (pack 150 = admittance 50 Pesos + ticket book of 100 Pesos), and at the ticket booths inside the fair (Ticket books of 100 Pesos).
