The 2019 edition of Feria PuroDiseño, that will take place from September 26th to September 29th, 2019 at the Pabellón Ocre of La Rural Exhibition Center, will showcase and offer for sale to the public the avant-garde works by more than 120 innovative Argentine designers, with a special focus on sustainability.

 Visitors will have the chance to purchase original designs in the fields of:

Feria PuroDiseño 2018



The 2018 edition of Feria PuroDiseño, that will take place from October 11th to October 14th, 2018, at the Pabellón Amarillo in La Rural, will exhibit and offer for sale to the public the avant-garde works of the most innovative Argentine designers. Architecture and Interior Design Exhibition Casa FOA 2017


Casa FOA is the most important yearly exhibition in which decorators, architects, designers, and landscape architects, selected for their talent and prestige, showcase the local and international trends in architecture, interior design, and landscaping. This year´s exhibition will be held from September 15th through October 16th 2017, at Luis Maria Campos 1336. 

Casa FOA was born in 1985 as an initiative of Mercedes Malbrán de Campos and a group of ladies with the purpose of raising funds for the Argentine Ophthalmology Foundation "Jorge Malbrán" (FOA). With a growing success, Casa FOA has become one the most important events in the country´s cultural agenda.

The strategic selection of the venues and the careful and profound restoration of the chosen buildings give every edition of Casa FOA an indisputable value for the community. The selected location this year is an apartment building from the 1950´s in Belgrano that represents the eclectic spirit of the time, where 45 designers will showcase the latest trends in interior design.

On previous years Casa Foa made possible the preservation of buildings of great historic and cultural value, such as: Casa de la Moneda (1995), Hotel de Inmigrantes (2000), Monasterio de Santa Catalina (2001), Casa del Patio de la Reconquista (2003), Hotel Avenida de Mayo (1991), Puerto Madero Dock 5 (1993), Palacio Alcorta (1994), Tattersal de Palermo (1998) Apostadero Naval (2000), Terrazas de Buenos Aires (2002), Tribuna II Palermo (2004), Puerto de Frutos de Tigre (2008), Edificio Tornquist (2013), Abadía de San Benito (2014), among others.

Buenos Aires Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017-2018


Buenos Aires Fashion Week (BAFWeek), the most important event for the Argentine fashion industry, will take place on August 23, 24, and 25, 2017, at the Pavilion 8 of La Rural Exhibition Center, bringing together the most established brands in the fashion world and independent designers for the launching of their new Spring/Summer 2017-2018 collections.

BAFWeek features several daily fashion shows by top brands and Argentine designers. At the Showrooms around 30 designers will showcase and offer their creations in an exclusive space, including accessories, shoes, bags, jewels, underwear, and men's and women's clothes.

As always, BAFWeek supports University of Buenos Aires students through the Seed Plot contest (Semillero UBA), so they can show their first collections, together with the famous designers. 

Entrance is free, but registration in advance is required in order to assist to the Fashion shows, from 3.00 pm at the venue, presenting an ID, on the same day of the fashion show of your choice.

International Artisans´Fair 2016


At the International Artisans' Fair ("Feria Internacional de Artesanias de Buenos Aires"), that will be held from December 6th to December 11th, 2016 at La Rural Exhibition Center, over 400 craftsmen from Argentina and Latin America will show their talent, creativity and skills, with live demonstrations of their work.

Individual artisans, official entities and delegations from the different Argentine provinces and neighboring countries will exhibit and offer their hand crafted unique pieces, while sharing their techniques and knowledge with the public. 

The stands are grouped according to the different kinds of crafts, including: ceramics; basket making; cutlery; leather; clothing; musical instruments; jewelry; wood; noble metals; paper; stone; textiles; glass, and more.

A great opportunity for visitors to purchase exclusive handicraft pieces at the best prices, while learning about cultural and artistic expressions from Argentina and Latin America.

Youth Culture Festival Ciudad Emergente 2014

The seventh edition of Ciudad Emergente, the Festival for the youth culture, will take place from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 of June, 2014 at Centro Cultural Recoleta.

This Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, presents the new expressions of the youth culture: rock, pop, street art, animation, poetry, cinema, fashion, theater, and digital art.

The activities in the festival include: fashion shows by novel designers; events that combine poetry and music; street art; hip hop and other street dance style shows; movie screenings with a program related to national and international rock and roll; fashion and digital art exhibitions; chill out lounges; music concerts; DJs, VJs.

The sensational show "Fuerza Bruta" will be presented on June 5, 6, 7, and 8, at 1:30 pm. Free tickets for all these performances must be picked up on Tuesday, June 3, from 12:00 pm (up to 2 tickets per person until reaching the total of 2000 tickets), at the Information Center of Centro Cultural Recoleta.

Admission free of charge for all the activities, with limited capacity.

Feria PuroDiseño 2014

The 2014 edition of Feria PuroDiseño, that will take place from May 20th to May 25th, 2014, at the Pabellón Amarillo in La Rural, will exhibit the avant-garde works of over 350 designers in the fields of clothing, accessories, contemporary jewelry, equipment, objects, digital design, graphic design, contemporary craftsmanship, textile development, and lighting, and works by the representatives of the provinces of Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Corrientes, La Pampa, Chubut, Santa Fe, Mendoza and Jujuy 

The Fair features different thematic spaces, such as:
  • Re-Evolution on 3D design: First showcase of large scale objects made on 3D printers.
  • Movimiento Colectivo: Exhibition by contemporary jewel designers.
  • Sustainable Space: exhibition of eco and socially responsible elements.
  • Arte Espacio: an art exhibition area with works from the most talented artists.
  • Central Showcase: five spaces at the heart of the Fair, where the curators show their view about the evolution of design in their areas of expertise.
  • Techno-Evolution: installation

BAFWeek - Buenos Aires Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014

The most important event for the Argentine fashion industry, BAFWeek, brings together the most established brands in the fashion world and the independent designers, for the launching of their Fall/Winter 2014 collections.

For this edition that focuses on "Argentinian Territories", top designers and renowned brands such as Prüne, Vicki Otero, Las Pepas, Amores Trash Couture, Kosiuko, Bendito Pie, Cosiendo Redes, Daniela Sartori, Andrea Urquizu, Li Torres, Juan Hernandez Daels, Ay Not Dead, Juana de Arxo, Cora Groppo, Desiderata, Nous Etudions, Kostume, Bolivia, Garza Lobos, among many others, have confirmed their presence.

BAFWeek Fall/Winter 2014 will feature daily fashion shows, and around 25 showrooms where designers will showcase their creations in an exclusive space, including accessories, shoes, bags, jewels, underwear, and men's and women's clothes. 

BAFWeek supports University of Buenos Aires (UBA) students through the Seed Plot contest, so they can show their first collection together with the famous designers.

Casa FOA is the most important yearly exhibition in which decorators, architects, designers, and landscape architects, selected for their talent and prestige, showcase the local and international trends in architecture, interior design, and landscaping. It will take place this year at Edificio Tornquist with the name "Casa FOA - 30 Casas", from October 4th to November 10th, 2013.
The Tornquist Building, was designed by the famous architect Alejandro Bustillo, built in the year 1926 and inaugurated two years later. Located on Bartolomé Mitre 531, this building is one of the best examples of neoclassical historicism in downtown Buenos Aires. It has been declared as National Historic Monument for its architectural value.

A new Italian festival, Gancia Tour d´Italia

A new event dedicated to Italian gastronomy, art, and spirits called "Gancia Tour d’ Italia" will be  held from September 26th to September 29th, 2013, at the Boulevard Cerviño in the neighborhood of Palermo.
The famous Voulez Bar, Guido's Bar, Guido Restaurante, Bella Italia, Anetta, Leopoldo, The Pick Market and Taco Box will be offering menus at special prices inspired in the Italian flavors, paired with cocktails prepared with Italian aperitifs.
The bars will offer cocktails Gancia 2 x $80 Pesos.
During the whole weekend some of the shops in the area will be offering complimentary Gancia Spritz drinks to all their customers, and the boulevard will be transformed in a photo shooting set for a renowned magazine.
The event will finish on Sunday with a spectacular closing show by the electronic music group Poncho, with free entrance to the public.

BAFWeek - Buenos Aires Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013-2014

BAFWeek, the most important event for the Argentine fashion industry, brings together the most established brands in the fashion world and independent designers for the launching of their new collections. The art in paper and fashion gather together to create the concept of the campaign of the BAFWeek Spring/Summer 2013-2014 edition.
BAFWeek features several daily fashion shows. For this edition top brands and designers as Juana de Arco, Las Pepas, Mariana Dappiano, De la Ostia, Prune, Kosiuko, Trosman, Desiderata, Garza Lobos, AY Not Dead, Swatch, Kostume, among others, have confirmed their presence.
At the Showrooms around 30 designers will showcase their creations in an exclusive space, including accessories, shoes, bags, jewels, underwear, and men's and women's clothes.
As always, BAFWeek supports University of Buenos Aires students through the Seed Plot contest (Semillero UBA), so they can show their first collections, together with the famous designers.

Special: AR$ 80 - 3rd row seats. The fashion show must be selected at the moment of purchasing the ticket and cannot be changed.

Feria PuroDiseño 2013

The 2013 edition of Feria PuroDiseño, that will take place from May 21st to May 26th, 2013, at the Pabellón Amarillo in La Rural, will exhibit the avant-garde works of over 350 designers in the fields of clothing, accessories, contemporary jewelry, equipment, objects, digital design, graphic design, contemporary craftsmanship, textile development, and lighting.

The Fair features different thematic spaces, like:
  • Arte Espacio: an art exhibition area with works from the most talented artists.
  • Sustainable Space: exhibition of eco and socially responsible elements.
  • La Seleccion: selection of new designers.
  • Jewelers in Action: Open workshops by jewel designers with the participation of the public.
  • Puro Kids: for kids between 6 and 12 years of age, to enjoy games and participate in the in the creation of a great art work.
  • 2nd National Footwear Contest: The 10 finalists will exhibit their creations at the Fair
Feria PuroDiseño is a space where design is the main protagonist. The goal of Feria PuroDiseño is to accompany and to promote this sector of the Argentine industry, as well as each and every one of its designers, as a platform for the promotion of local and international design and the stimulation to regional creativity.
