More free concerts offered by Teatro Colon
The Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires continues with a series of free concerts outside the theater, bringing the music of their great artists to the general public.
On Saturday, March 28 2015, the Stable Choir Teatro Colon will offer a free concert at Plaza del Vaticano located next to Teatro Colón, on Viamonte between Libertad & Cerrito, at 8 pm.
The Choir will perform works by Verdi, Bizet, Leoncavallo, Gershwin, Orff, Héctor Panizza and Felipe Boero. With the participation as guest pianist of maestro Ulises Maino.

Chairs for free use of the public will be installed.
Free entrance. Not advanced tickets required.
On Sunday March 29 2015, at 5 pm, the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra will offer a free concert at Usina del Arte (AgustÃn Caffarena 1, corner Av. Don Pedro de Mendoza, La Boca).
Conducted by maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke, the Orchestra will perform: Finland, Op. 26 by Jean Sibelius; Suite Nº 1, Op. 46 from Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg; the Overture of “Ruslan and Ludmila” by Mijail Glinka, and a selection from the Opera "Prince Igor"by Alexander Borodin, with the participation of the choir "Música para la Equidad" conducted by Hernán Sánchez Arteaga.
The concert is free, but free tickets must be picked up in advance on Saturday March 28, from 10 am to 8 pm at the Ticket office of Teatro Colón, Tucumán 1171.
On Wednesday April 1 2015, at 8 pm, the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra will offer a free concert at the Amphitheater of Parque Centenario (Leopoldo Marechal 1000).
Conducted by maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke, the Orchestra will perform Beethoven´s Ninth Symphony "Choral". With the participation as soloists of soprano Mónica Ferracani, mezzo-soprano Alejandra Malvino, tenor Enrique Folger, baritone Hernán Iturralde; and with the partipation of the Stable Choir of Teatro Colón, conducted by maestro Miguel Fabián MartÃnez.
The concert is free, but free tickets must be picked up in advance on Tuesday March 31, from 10 am to 8 pm at the Ticket office of Teatro Colón, Tucumán 1171; and on Wednesday April 1, from 12 pm to 6 pm at Dirección General de Música, Alsina 963.
For these two concerts 2 tickets will be given out per person until completing the concert hall´s capacity. Make sure to get in line early!
