2022 Buenos Aires City Tango Dance Championship

The 2022 Buenos Aires City Tango Dance Championship will be held at different "milongas" and cultural centers across the city from Thursday, May 12th through Sunday, May 22nd of  2022.

The competition is on the look out for new winning couples in the categories Tango de Pista, "Milongueros" of the World, Milonga and Waltz, who will qualify to participate in the World Tango Dance Championship that will take place in Buenos Aires in August 2022.

Schedule and venues:

Qualifying rounds:
Thursday 12, 6:00 pm: Club Atlético Huracán - Av. Caseros 3159 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Milongueros del Mundo, Vals & Milonga. Free entrance with previous reservation.
Friday 13, 9:00 pm: La Baldosa - Cnel. Ramon L. Falcón 2750 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Vals & Milonga.
Saturday 14, 4:00 pm: La Friulana Tango - Navarro 3974 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Milongueros del Mundo & Milonga.
Sunday 15, 7:00 pm:  El Milongon - El Marabú - Maipú 365 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Milongueros del Mundo & Milonga.
Monday 16, 9:00 pm: El Motivo Tango - Av. Córdoba 5064 - Tango de Pista Adulto/Senior, Vals & Milonga.
Tuesday 17, 6:00 pm: Espacio Cultural Julian Centeya - Av. San Juan 3255 - Tango de Pista Adulto/Senior, Milongueros del Mundo, Vals & Milonga. Free entrance with previous reservation.
Thursday 19, 8:00 pm: Milonga en lo de Balmaceda - Adolfo Alsina 1465 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Milongueros del Mundo & Milonga.

Friday 20, 5:30 pm: La Viruta - Armenia 1331 - Tango de Pista Adult/Senior, Vals & Milonga.

Semifinals at Usina del Arte:
Saturday 21, 4:00 pm: All categories. Free entrance with previous reservation.

Finals at Usina del Arte:
Sunday, May 22: Grand Finale, from 6:00 PM. Free entrance with previous reservation.

Tickets:
All the events at Usina del Arte, Espacio Cultural Centeya and C.A. Huracán are free and require previous registration. 

The cost of admittance to the Milongas depends on the entry the price set by each venue.
Free tickets for the Semifinals and Finals at Usina el Arte (Agustín Caffarena 1, La Boca) will have to be reserved online in advance through the Championship's website.
