The 14th Buenos Aires International Biennial of Architecture BA13 will take place from September 21st to October 13th, 2013 at the Centro Cultutal Recoleta and Auditorio Buenos Aires, bringing together the world's most prominent architects, and turning the city of Buenos Aires into the center of the global architecture.
The Buenos Aires International Biennial of Architecture, that takes place since 1985, is one of the most important exhibitions along with the Venice and San Pablo Biennials.

A series of lectures and conferences will take place at Auditorio Buenos Aires (Av. Pueyrredón 2501, 2nd Floor) from September 24th to September 27th, where over 70 renowned speakers will show their works, share their experiences and creative processes.
Conferences and lectures are paid activities and require previous registration by phone at: (54 11) 3724-3008 Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, or through this website.

Like in previous Biennials, architects, critics and theorists from Argentina and different countries have been invited including: César Pelli (Argentina-USA), who has been invited to all Biennials; Jesús Salvador Rueda, Adolf Romagosa Rocamora, Estudio Abalos-Sentkiewicz. Iñaki Abalos, Josep María Botey, Vicente Guallart, Zaida Muxi (Spain), Thomas Richez, Pablo Georgieff-Coloco, Sarah Viricel (France), Georg Vrachliotis (Switzerland), Kieran Long (England), Tilman Latz (Germany), Rosario Pavia, Rinio Bruttomesso (Italy), Seon Ah Kim (Korea), Taku Sakaushi (Japan), Rahul Mehrotra (India), JillLerner (AIA/New York), Paul Preissner (USA), Diane Gray (USA/Spain), Felipe Correa, Handel Guayasamin, Espinoza Carvajal Arquitectos Ingenieros-Kenny Espinoza Carvajal (Ecuador), Jean Pierre Crousse (Peru), Augusto Alvarez (Mexico), Miguel Ángel Roca, Martín Fourcade, Gustavo Diéguez (Argentina), Ignacio Dahl Rocha (Argentina/Switzerland), Mario Corea (Argentina/Spain), Claudio Sat (Argentina/Portugal), César Pelli, Jorge Silvetti (Argentina/ USA), Joao Sodré (Brazil), Estudio Giancarlo Mazzantti-Carlos Medellín, Camilo Restrepo, Felipe Mesa, Laureano Forero (Colombia), Farid Chacón (Venezuela)., among many others.

The Bienal BA13 will feature multiple exhibitions. From Europe: “The European Prize of Architecture-Chicago Atheneum”; "Bienales del paisaje”, “Iñaki Abalos” and “Port Vell” (Spain); “Richter-Dahl Rocha” (Switzerland). 
From South America: “Venezuelan Architects” by Revista Entre Rayas, “Winning works from Bienal de Quito”; “Joao Figueira Lima” from Brazil; “Panavisión” from Uruguay; “Young Peruvian Architecture”; “Germán del Sol” from Chile.
From USA, the exhibitions from “Diller Scofiio”, “KPF”, “Norman Foster”, Miles Van Der Rohe Foundation Award, “SAP/Harvard South American Architecture”, “The NY American Institute of Architects”.

And from Argentina, exhibitions by Sociedad Central de Arquitectos, “Espejos Urbanos” by Sergio Castiglione, “Concursos y Obras de la Ciudad”, “Crosquiseros”, and the exhibition in tribute to Clorindo Testa at Sala Cronopios.

The exhibition of winning works from the Contests and Prizes will be held from September 21 to October 13, at Centro Cultural Recoleta (Junin 1930), Tuesday to Friday 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 12.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
