Italian Food Week 2016

The Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires, and the Italian Embassy in Argentina, together with Pietro Sorba, renowned gastronomic journalist author of numerous local restaurant guides, present the "Italian Food Week - Semana de la Cocina Italiana en Buenos Aires", a week dedicated to honor the Italian gastronomic traditions in Buenos Aires, that will take place from August 29th to September 4th, 2016.

In this year´s event, 23 of the best Italian restaurants in the city will offer lunch and dinner menus at promotional prices. Each restaurant will offer a menu with a fixed price of $ 195 Pesos or $ 350 Pesos, per person. Cover charge is included. Drinks included only when mentioned.

During the week those who order the special menu will be invited with a complimentary Cinzano, Aperol Spritz,  Campari Orange or Cynar Julep aperitif.

Some of the menus are only available on certain days of the week and some are available by previous reservation only, so make sure to read about these conditions on the website.

On Saturday, September 3rd, a big Italian Food Festival with free entrance to the public will be held at Usina del Arte (Agustín R. Caffarena 1, La Boca), from 12 pm to 8 pm, with the following activities:

Argentine-Italian pizza competition
Free tasting of Cinzano aperitifs
Free tasting of Segafredo espresso coffee
Sale of Italian products at promotional prices
Italian Street Food
Live Music
