The Bookstore Night - La Noche de las Librerias 2017

On Saturday, March 18th, 2017, the City of Buenos Aires presents the 10th edition of The Bookstore Night (La Noche de las Librerías), with free activities in over 50 bookstores from 6 pm to 11.00 pm. This traditional event represents the publishing industry and pays tribute to bookstores and booksellers in the City, with activities in their premises, and the traditional festival on Avenida Corrientes.

During the Bookstore Night, the vehicular traffic will be closed on Avenida Corrientes from Libertad St up to Junín St, where multiple cultural activities will take place simultaneously in bookstores, bars, theaters and on the streets, including book presentations, workshops, story telling, talks with authors, live music, activities for kids, and more.

The main musical show will be at 10.00 pm, with the presentation of the popular folk artist Soledad Pastorutti on the main stage located on Avenida Corrientes 1100.
