Gourmet Festival, Horse Racing and Art

A new edition of the gourmet festival “Apetito” will take place on Sunday, April 30th, from 12 pm to 2 am, and Monday, May 1st, 2017, from 12 pm to 10 pm, at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo.

The best cooks and beer brewers will get together in the parking lot of Tribuna Paddock, with entrance through Av. Dorrego and Av. Libertador, with more than 30 food trucks offering hamburgers, crepes, pulled, pork, bagels, Mexican food, empanadas, fish, vegetarian food, pizzas, smoothies, hot dogs, ice cream, coffee, artisan beer, and more!

The "Gran Premio Republica Argentina" (GI), one of the most important classics of the year, will take place on Labor Day Holiday, Monday May 1st, 2017. This outstanding 2000-meter race brings together the best 3 years old and older pure thoroughbred horses of the national and foreign equestrian activity.

The Great Prize "Gran Premio Republica Argentina" will be the center of a spectacular racing day that will start at 1:00 pm. Other five big prizes (GI) are included in the day's schedule: Great International Prize of the Americas; Breeders' Prize Distaff; Great International Prize of Buenos Aires City; Great Prize Jorge de Atucha; and the Great Prize Montevideo.

This fantastic day for the whole family will feature a special sector for kids with table football, ping pong and other games, and a theater play at 5 pm.

From 2 pm to 10 pm, at the Art Hall of Tribuna Paddock, visitor will also have the chance to see an exhibition of Turf, Art and Fashion by the renowned photographer Gustavo Di Mario, together with works by outstanding fashion designers, presenting a collection inspired on the garments of the jockeys.
