The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, will be celebrated in Buenos Aires, in the streets of the Chinese Quarter in Belgrano, on Arribeños Street, from Blanco Encalada to Juramento on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th of 2017.
The activities will take place between 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important holidays in the Chinese calendar, together with the Chinese New Year. Sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival, traditionally on this day Chinese family members and friends gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and celebrate the end of the fall harvesting season.
More than 60 stalls will be placed in the streets that will be converted into a giant food court to offer traditional food and cultural items.
A large stage with lights and sound will be mounted on Arribeños and Olazabal for the public to enjoy a great event on Sunday 8th, that will feature the traditional Dragon and Lion Dance, Oriental Martial Arts, Traditional Dances music shows, among many other activities.

The events may be suspended in case of rain.
