Argentina entry requirements for international tourists - Update

Through Administrative Decision 951/2021 issued on April 6th, 2022, the Argentine government has announced the lifting of all restrictions, including the requirement of proof of vaccination or PCR test for entry into the national territory of all non-resident foreigners from any country, subject to compliance with current immigration requirements and the requirements listed below:

Through Administrative Decision 937/2022 issued on August 26th, 2022 the Argentine government has announced that Travelers do not need fill out the sworn declaration (affidavit) anymore, and health insurance with Covid-19 coverage is no longer required.

Additional notes:

**Use of masks is no longer mandatory on public transport, businesses and work environments.

Note that all these measures will remain in place as long as the number of Covid-19 cases in the country keep decreasing or there is not a sudden surge in infection rates, so please make sure to be updated on all the current travel regulations.

On Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, The Cathedral of Polo opens its doors to the public again for the most important polo tournament in the world, the 129th Argentine Polo Open Championship (Abierto Argentino de Polo), or simply "El Abierto", with its thrilling Final to be played on Friday, December 2nd.

The Argentine Polo Open, held every year at Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo (Av. del Libertador & Dorrego), brings together the best polo players in the world, among them the 10-goal players: Adolfo Cambiaso Jr, the brothers Camilo and Bartolomé Castagnola, Pablo Mac Donough, Juan M. Nero, Pablo Pieres, Facundo Pieres and Nicolás Pieres and David Stirling Jr.

The Argentine Open is one of the oldest and most prestigious events in the international polo calendar, as well as one of the main social events in Buenos Aires, with it's famous "after polo" at the polo bars, and musical shows every night.

The Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires presents the 18th Edition of La Noche de los Museos - Museum Night 2022, the biggest cultural event of the year, that will take place on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, from 7 PM until 2 AM.

Every year since 2004, one Saturday night the museums of Buenos Aires stay open all night offering different cultural activities, all of them free of charge, in the same way as in other 130 cities around the world.

Over 230 museums and art spaces all across the city will be participating in this edition. During this special night visitors will be able to enjoy free guided visits, special exhibitions, as well as conferences, shows, theater performances, dance, screenings, video, multimedia, and diverse concerts of classical music, jazz, tango, folk, and rock.

There will be numerous activities specially organized for kids, like workshops, guided visits, plays, performances, concerts, and much more.

Buses and Subte lines will offer free rides during the night, presenting the Free Pass that can be downloaded through the city app BOTI.

The 129th Hurlingham Club Open Championship, the oldest Polo tournament in the world, kicked off this Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, with the participation of eight of the best worldwide Polo teams and the world's top ranked polo players.

The Hurlingham Club Open is the second jewel of the Argentina "Triple Crown" of Polo, following the Tortugas Open Championship, and preceding the Argentine Open Championship.

The first six dates of the tournament will be played at the Argentine Polo Association in Pilar (AAP), north of Buenos Aires. The zone definitions and the Final will be played at Hurlingham Club.
