The prestigious Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires, one of the most important Opera Houses in the world, has announced its program for the 2015 Season, which features among other great performances the outstanding presence of the ABT principal dancer, the Argetine Paloma Herrera in her farewell from dance, the return of the Abono Estelar, with Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich, and a series of popular concerts celebrating the fifth anniversary of the reopening of the Theater.

OFBA CONCERTS

The Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke, will offer a series of concerts dedicated to the integral interpretation of the nine symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven, in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the reopening of the Theater, and a series of 14 concerts throughout the year.

Domingos de Camara - Intérpretes Argentinos (Chamber Sundays): Series of FREE concerts on Sundays at 11 am, by renowned Argentinean chamber groups at the main concert hall of Teatro Colón.
Free tickets must be picked up from the previous Friday and up to 2 hours before every performance. Only 2 tickets per person will be handed, limited to the theater's capacity.

The 2015 Season will come complete with the program by the CETC (Centro de Experimentacion del Teatro Colón), the program Colón Contemporáneo (contemporary works); and ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón). And the concerts performed at the Theater by private musical organizations like Nuova Harmonia and Mozarteum Argentino.
