Jacaranda trees in bloom 2015

Every year by mid November, springtime in Buenos Aires, the city gets covered in lavender with the wonderful jacaranda trees in bloom. Unfortunately this year the weather has been very weird and the flowering of the Jacaranda trees has started very late and has not been as spectacular as in previous years, but still some of the most beautiful specimens can be admired at: Plaza San Martin; along Avenida Figueroa Alcorta and Avenida Libertador near Plaza Francia (Recoleta); Plaza Italia; Plaza Alemania; Plaza de Mayo, Plaza Congreso, Palermo Parks, the Rose Garden, and many streets across the city.

For this reason November is one of the best months to visit Buenos Aires, for the unique chance to admire these beautiful trees in full bloom.
