The ATP Buenos Aires tournament "Argentina Open 2020", will kick off with the Qualifying rounds on Saturday, February 8th and Sunday February 9th. The traditional tournament, that is part of the ATP World Tour, will receive some of the greatest world wide tennis players, including Dominic Thiem, Matteo Berrettini, Diego Schwartzman, among others, from February 10th to February 16th, 2020, at the courts of Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.

ATP Buenos Aires Argentina Open 2018


The ATP Buenos Aires tournament "Argentina Open 2018", will kick off with the Qualifying rounds on Saturday, February 10th and Sunday February 11th. 

The traditional tournament, that is part of the ATP World Tour, will receive some of the greatest world wide tennis players, including Dominic Thiem, Marin Cilic, Pablo Carreño, among others, from February 12th to February 18th, 2018, at the courts of Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.

This year for the first time the ATP Open will feature the "Argentina Open Legends". with the participation of Gastón Gaudio, Pico Mónaco, Mariano Zabaleta and Juan Ignacio Chela on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th. Visitors will have access to these matches with the same entrance ticket for the ATP Tournament. The players will be divided into two teams: the White Team with Pico Monaco and Mariano Zabaleta; and the Blue Team with Gastón Gaudio and Juan Ignacio Chela. On Monday they will play a one set doubles match, and on Tuesday two individual matches (super tiebreaks to 10 points), both days at 5.45 pm.

Davis Cup 2017: Argentina vs Italy


Defending Davis Cup champions  Argentina will be hosting Italy for the First Round of the Davis Cup 2017 at Parque Sarmiento in Buenos Aires on February 3, 4, and 5, 2017.
This will be the fourth meeting between the two nations, and the third in the last four years. Argentina currently leads the head-to-head 2-1 after winning in last year's quarterfinal in Italy.

The dates and times of the matches are:

Venus and Serena Williams to play the FedCup in Argentina

Argentina and USA will play the first round of the Fed Cup´s World Group II at Pilará Tennis Club, north of Buenos Aires, on Saturday February 7 and Sunday February 8, 2015.
Venus and Serena Williams will play on the U.S. Fed Cup team, marking the first time both sisters have played the international women's team competition since April 2013.
World No. 1 Serena Williams heads USA's line-up for the World Group II first round match-up against Argentina. She will be joined by sister, Venus Williams, Varvara Lepchenko and Australian Open semifinalist Madison Keys.
The Argentina team to face USA features Paula Ormaechea, Maria Irigoyen, Nadia Podoroska and Tatiana Bua.
The tie will be played on red clay.

Pilará Tennis Club is located in the city of Pilar, 56 km North of Buenos Aires.

Exhibition match Serena Williams vs Venus Williams at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club

Two of the greatest female tennis players of all time, the sisters Serena Williams and Venus Williams, will offer an exhibition match at the central court of Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club (Olleros 1510), on Saturday, November 30th, 2013, starting at 6 pm.

Serena is currently ranked No. 1 in women's singles tennis, and is the only player to obtain the "Career Golden Slam" in both singles and doubles.
Her sister Venus has been ranked World No. 1 in singles on three separate occasions. She became the World No. 1 for the first time on February 25, 2002.
They are both visiting Argentina for the first time.

The event will be closed with a show by the fun Argentinian band Los Auténticos Decadentes.

Exhibition match Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal


Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, the world´s best tennis players at the moment, will offer an exhibition match in Buenos Aires on Sunday, November 24th, 2013, in a stadium specially designed for this event at La Rural Exhibition Center (Av.Santa Fe & Av. Sarmiento).

This will be the first time that Novak Djokovic, the current world’s No. 1 tennis player; visits Argentina. Rafael Nadal on the other hand participated in the ATP Buenos Aires in 2005, and will meet Djokovic after the exhibition match against David Nalbandian that will be held in the same venue the day before.

Exhibition match: Rafael Nadal vs David Nalbandian


Rafael Nadal, one of the greatest tennis players of all time, returns to Argentina to participate in an exhibition match with one of Argentina´s top players, David Nalbandian, at La Rural Exhibition Center (Av Santa Fe & Av. Sarmiento), on November 23rd, 2013.
Nadal and Nalbandian met seven times in the circuit. The Argentinian won the first two clashes (2007 Madrid and París Masters); Rafa Nadal, the last five.
The last time Rafael Nadal visited Buenos Aires was in 2005, when he was only 19, and was defeated on the quarterfinals of the ATP Buenos Aires by Gaston Gaudio, at the time champion of Roland Garros.
But now he returns as winner of 12 Grand Slam titles, the Olympic Gold Medal, 24 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and 14 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments.
