Casa FOA 2011

Casa FOA is the most important yearly exhibition where decorators, architects, designers, and landscapers, selected for their talent and prestige, showcase the local and international trends in architecture, interior design, and landscaping. It will take place this year at Centro Metropolitano de Diseno (Metropolitan Design Center) with the name "Casa FOA CMD Design Market", from September 9th to October 10th, 2011, in the neighborhood of Barracas, one of the most ancient neighborhoods in Buenos Aires together with Monserrat and San Telmo.
The exhibit will feature more than 50 architectural spaces that will make up the 7700 square meters of a renovated old building.
Casa FOA was born in 1985 as an initiative of Mercedes Malbrán de Campos and a group of ladies with the purpose of raising funds for the Argentine Ophthalmology Foundation "Jorge Malbrán" (FOA).
