The exhibition comprises fifty drawings, mostly made in black and white. Very few of these works are in color, and these are watercolors.

The exhibition is divided into five "chapters": the first is devoted to Latin American life, the source of inspiration for Botero. Botero portrays the life of the town and its characters, costumes, architecture, habits and rituals. The second "chapter" focuses on the theme of violence and bullfighting.
